If you were one of the many people who were tuned in to the Los Angeles Rams' playoff against the Atlanta Falcons, then most likely you heard a little preview of something Carrie Underwood.
"Check out something special from @carrieunderwood that aired tonight during halftime! #SBLII #TheChampion," Sunday Night Football on NBC posted to their Instagram account.
"The Champion" is a song Underwood wrote exclusively for February's big game.
"I think it's going to become a sports anthem. It's going to be one of those songs that you see cut to highlights for the next 25 years," said Fred Gaudelli, Sunday Night Football executive producer, who asked Underwood to write the song.
And what does Underwood's hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher think of the song?
"My husband loves it," the singer said. "He would listen to it before playoff games. He was like 'I want everyone to hear it!' and I had to tell him, 'You can't do that. You can't play it in the locker room. I'm sorry.'"
After hearing the preview below, we can't wait to hear the song in its entirety!
