Parr’s Poker Showdown Contest Rules

The Contest begins on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 6 a.m. P.S.T. and ends on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 7p.m. P.S.T. (the “Contest Period”). Each day during the Contest Period, Go Country 105 will announce on-air three (3) poker cards at different times throughout the day, with one (1) poker card announced at a time. The announcements will include the number and suit of each poker card. For example, an announcer may say that the first card is the King of Clubs. Listeners will need to listen for all 3 cards for the day, then enter that information on the homepage of www.gocountry105.com. Two (2) cards will be provided each day of the Contest Period on www.gocountry105.com for the listener to complete the five (5) card submission to enter the Contest for each day of the Contest Period. The five poker cards will be different for each day of the Contest Period. Listeners may only enter the Contest one (1) time per day for a total of seven (7) entries over the Contest Period. All 5 cards submitted must be correct in order for an entry to be valid (a “Correct Submission”). Incorrect submissions will not be included in the drawing. Out of the Correct Submissions, four (4) Correct Submissions will be selected by random drawing by Monday, May 12. 2008 at 11p.m. P.S.T. (the “Winning Entries”). There will be four (4) Winners. Each contestant may only win the Contest once. If more than (1) Winning Entry is randomly selected for the same contestant, then that Winning Entry and all other Correct Submissions from the contestant will be discarded and a new Correct Submission will be randomly selected from a different contestant.

The 4 Winners will each be invited to attend Parr’s Poker Showdown Tournament (the “Tournament”) in Las Vegas on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Treasure Island Hotel. Each of the 4 Winners will be able to bring one (1) guest with them also to compete in the Tournament. All Winners and guests must be 21 years or older. All Winners and their guests must be able to travel to Las Vegas on Friday, May 16th to compete in the Tournament. Please note that transportation to and from Las Vegas is not provided by Go Country 105. If a Winner cannot attend the Tournament, or does not reply back by either telephone or e-mail by 11:59 p.m. P.S.T. to the Go Country 105 Promotions Department to accept the prize on the same day they are contacted by Go Country 105, they will be disqualified and another Winner will be randomly selected. This process will continue until 4 Winners confirm with Go Country 105 that they can attend the Tournament. On May 16th, the Winners and their guests will meet at a TBD location in the Treasure Island Hotel at 7 p.m. P.S.T. (time subject to change). All Winners and their guests must arrive on-time. Any Winners or guests who do not arrive by 7:15 p.m. P.S.T. that evening will be disqualified from the Tournament and the Contest. Further rules and details for the Tournament will be explained in the evening of May 16th. The Tournament will begin at 8 p.m. P.S.T. (time subject to change) and conclude no later than 11 p.m. P.S.T. (time subject to change). Please note that each Winner can attend the tournament without a guest.

Prize: Each of the 4 Winners will receive the following: one (1) 4 day/3 night stay in a deluxe room at the Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. (Arrival will be on Friday, May 16th with check in at 3 p.m. P.S.T. Departure will be on Monday, May 19th by 11 a.m. P.S.T.). Each Winner will receive (1) certificate from Go Country 105 to bring to the Treasure Island Hotel. Each Winner also will receive two (2) premium tickets to see Mystere by Cirque du Soleil. Tickets to be used for a show the weekend of May 16th. Prize Value: approximately $960.

Grand Prize: The individual (either a Winner or their guest) who wins the Tournament (the “Grand Prize Winner”) will also receive a Grand Prize, consisting of two (2) tickets to the Academy of Country Music Awards (Sunday, May 18th at 4:30 p.m. P.S.T.) and two (2) tickets to the Academy of Country Music Reception and All-Star Jam (Sunday, May 18th at 8:15 p.m. P.S.T.). The Grand Prize Winner will also receive $1,000 in promotional chips from Treasure Island. Grand Prize Value: approximately $1,300.

Bonus Prize: During the Tournament, if a Winner or their guest eliminates Shawn Parr, that individual will receive $500 in Treasure Island promotional chips. This Bonus Prize will only be awarded if Shawn Parr is eliminated from the Tournament, and only to the individual who eliminates Shawn. Bonus Prize Value: $500.

Restrictions on Use of Promotional Chips: The promotional chips are for one-time bets only (regardless of whether the wager wins or loses) and can only be used at Treasure Island. If a promotional chip is wagered and a push occurs, then the chip may be wagered again until it wins or loses. Promotional chips may be wagered on even money bets in the following table games: blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, and pai gow poker.
